This capstone unit synthesizes résumé/CV construction, interview and presentation skills, and career-transition strategies to prepare learners for successful job searches and career changes. Students will finalize targeted application documents, practice high‑impact speaking and interviewing techniques, and plan responses to compensation and corporate-change scenarios.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze job postings and employer needs to select and produce a tailored résumé or CV (paper and e‑CV variants) using appropriate formats (keyword, professional, academic, international), justifying format choice with two alignment criteria
• Apply summary and asset‑statement drafting methods to create at least five competency‑based bullet statements (e.g., STAR/skill‑linked statements) that translate education, activities, licences, and samples of work into measurable employability evidence
• Demonstrate effective interview and short‑presentation skills by delivering structured responses to behavioral, situational, and atypical questions and a 3–5 minute presentation that uses rhetorical devices, audience alignment, and a clear conclusion, as assessed by a rubric
• Evaluate salary questions, benefits, and corporate‑change scenarios to develop and document a negotiation strategy and a 90‑day transition/action plan for a career change or new role
