Interpersonal and Digital Networking

This unit develops practical interpersonal and digital communication skills for professional networking, including small talk, name recall, etiquette, event roles, business meals, and follow-up practices like thank-you notes and business card exchanges. Students will practice email, voicemail, and online community strategies, learn boundary-setting and curiosity-driven interpretation, and prepare these foundational skills for deeper relationship-building in the final unit.

• Analyze interpersonal behaviors and apply curiosity-driven interpretation strategies to adapt responses and reduce misunderstandings in networking situations
• Demonstrate professional etiquette and event-specific behaviors, including introductions, host/guest roles, business card exchange, and business meal protocol
• Apply written and digital communication techniques to compose professional emails, voicemail scripts, online profile interactions, and follow-up messages that strengthen networking connections
