Building and Polishing Flutter Apps

This capstone unit focuses on implementing dynamic lists, navigation, user interaction, layout, and integrating remote data and assets to produce a functional Flutter mobile app. Students will also apply code organization and style practices, manage package dependencies, and prepare projects for further development or deployment.

Learning Objectives

• Apply ListView.builder and related list management techniques (including itemCount) to create efficient, scrollable UI lists populated from static or dynamic sources
• Demonstrate fetching, parsing, and integrating remote JSON data into widgets using asynchronous Dart code and appropriate imports
• Configure pubspec.yaml to declare assets and dependencies, add required packages, and load declared assets into the application
• Design multi-screen navigation flows, implement user interaction handlers and layout principles, and follow Dart style and indentation guidelines for readable, maintainable code
