Trivergence Strategy and Leadership

This culminating unit guides students through assessing organizational readiness for trivergence, crafting a trivergence-focused business strategy, and planning collaboration, culture, and leadership approaches to implement it. Students will weigh risks and ethical considerations, design measurable implementation roadmaps, and prepare to lead cross-functional teams in real-world software and systems contexts.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze organizational readiness for trivergence by assessing technical infrastructure, workforce capabilities, and process maturity and identifying at least five specific strengths or gaps.
• Evaluate key considerations and potential perils of trivergence adoption by prioritizing and scoring risks across security, ethical, legal, and business-continuity domains and proposing mitigation strategies for the top three risks.
• Develop a trivergence-focused business strategy and collaboration plan that specifies measurable goals, KPIs, stakeholder roles, and a phased implementation roadmap for a real or simulated organization.
• Demonstrate leadership and change-management skills by designing a culture-of-innovation and communication plan and presenting an implementation strategy to mobilize cross-functional teams.
