Strategic Hyperintelligence Futures

This capstone unit synthesizes advanced concepts in hyperintelligence—complexity theory, AI swarms, personal and designer robots, longevity technologies, climate interventions, and national security—to assess their business, societal, and policy implications. Students apply systems thinking and foresight to design ethically grounded, resilient business models and strategic plans that prepare organizations and stakeholders for long-range risks and opportunities.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze emerging hyperintelligence-driven scenarios (e.g., AI swarms, personal AI, Robots-as-a-Service, longevity and climate interventions) to quantify their potential economic, ethical, and national security impacts on organizations and markets.
• Evaluate ethical, legal, and societal implications of deploying advanced technologies—including autonomous systems, designer robots, and longevity interventions—and recommend governance, mitigation, or compliance strategies.
• Apply systems- and complexity-based tools to measure combinatorial complexity, model feedback loops (such as the ingenuity feedback loop), and develop resilient, scalable business models for hyperintelligence-enabled services.
• Demonstrate the ability to synthesize foresight and analysis into a stakeholder-ready strategic plan that addresses risk management, regulation, commercialization, and workforce implications for a selected hyperintelligence product or policy, and present it to peers or industry advisors.
