Productivity and Cybersecurity Integration

This capstone unit teaches students to leverage AI-enhanced productivity tools while protecting business data and systems. Building on prior units, students will apply collaborative platforms and automations in realistic business scenarios and implement cybersecurity best practices to prepare for workplace deployment and advanced study.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze organizational workflows to identify opportunities for AI-enhanced productivity tools and produce a documented implementation plan with measurable efficiency gains
• Apply collaborative productivity platforms and automation techniques to complete business management tasks by creating and demonstrating at least two integrated workflows or automations
• Demonstrate secure configuration and administration of productivity tools in a simulated business environment by implementing access controls, encryption, backup routines, and incident response steps and documenting outcomes
• Evaluate cyber security risks related to AI-enabled business systems by conducting a vulnerability assessment, prioritizing threats, and recommending specific mitigation policies and privacy controls aligned with legal and ethical requirements
