Medical Terminology: Systems & Word Parts

This unit expands foundational vocabulary by focusing on system-specific roots, prefixes, suffixes, pronunciation, anatomical terms, and common pathological conditions across multiple body systems. Students will practice constructing and deconstructing medical terms, applying pluralization and pronunciation rules, and using reputable online references to verify terminology in preparation for clinical application in subsequent units.
