This unit synthesizes UX fundamentals into finishing, evaluation, and launch practices. Students learn to prioritize users, apply ten enduring UX principles, and use best-practice tactics to polish prototypes, ensure accessibility and quality, and complete projects ready for handoff or portfolio presentation.
Learning Objectives
- Analyze end-to-end project workflows and post-launch needs to produce a completion plan that covers QA, documentation, stakeholder sign-off, and iterative updates
- Apply user-centered reasoning to justify and prioritize design decisions by identifying at least ten user-focused considerations and mapping them to design choices
- Demonstrate mastery of ten industry best-practice UX techniques (including accessibility, responsiveness, usability testing, feedback, and consistency) by producing a revised high-fidelity prototype or annotated checklist
- Evaluate an existing interface against ten enduring UX principles and create a prioritized, measurable revision plan with defined success criteria
