Collaborative Productivity with Microsoft 365

This unit builds on foundational Microsoft 365 skills to teach advanced collaboration, organization, and communication techniques across apps such as Whiteboard, Planner, Lists, Forms, Sway, Yammer, and AI-assisted features. Students will integrate these tools to design workflows, facilitate effective meetings, manage documents and signatures, and evaluate team engagement in preparation for real-world CTE capstone projects or workplace applications.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze workplace scenarios and select appropriate Microsoft 365 collaboration tools (e.g., Whiteboard, Teams/Yammer, Planner, Lists, Forms, Sway) to optimize meetings, communication, and knowledge sharing
• Apply advanced Microsoft 365 features—including AI-assisted reminders, document actions, favorites, cards, boards, and electronic signatures—to create and implement integrated workflows that organize documents, track tasks, and capture approvals
• Demonstrate how to create, configure, and manage collaborative artifacts (forms, lists, planner plans, whiteboards, Sway pages, and Yammer posts) with appropriate permissions, version control, and accessibility settings
• Evaluate collaboration effectiveness using engagement indicators (responses, document popularity, praise, planner status) and security/compliance considerations, and recommend improvements to increase team productivity
