AI Strategy and Implementation Planning

This unit guides learners through assessing organizational readiness, crafting an AI strategy, selecting and designing high-value use cases, and planning solution selection and deployment. It introduces change management and team virtues needed to move AI initiatives from concept to live operation, building on foundational AI concepts and preparing students for hands-on implementation in subsequent units.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze organizational readiness by conducting assessments of data, infrastructure, processes, and stakeholder capabilities and produce a prioritized readiness report
• Apply a strategic AI framework (including the Five Pillars) to develop an actionable AI strategy that aligns use cases with business goals, value, and risk tolerance
• Evaluate and prioritize AI use cases and vendor/solution options using criteria for feasibility, ROI, ethical and legal considerations, and scalability
• Demonstrate a deployment and change management plan that defines phased rollout steps, team roles and virtues, training needs, and post-launch monitoring metrics
