This unit teaches students how to use AI coding assistants and platform tools to generate, refactor, test, document, and maintain software reliably. Students will learn underlying transformer concepts, evaluate AI outputs from tools like Copilot, ChatGPT, Sourcegraph Cody and Replit, and practice blending AI-generated and manually written code in development workflows.
