Securing LLMs in Azure Cloud

This unit covers securing Large Language Model (LLM) applications in Microsoft Azure, including Azure AI Search, the LLM application security lifecycle, and AI Security Posture Management. Students will learn to assess threats, implement controls, and integrate LLMs into a cloud security architecture with monitoring and incident response plans.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze Azure AI Search features and risks to identify attack surfaces, data exposure points, and appropriate mitigation strategies
• Apply the LLM application security lifecycle to create a deployment checklist that addresses data handling, model tuning, access control, and privacy controls
• Evaluate AI Security Posture Management practices and tools to detect, prioritize, and remediate security gaps in LLM deployments through continuous monitoring
• Demonstrate integration of LLM applications into a cloud security architecture by producing a diagram and justifying selected security controls and incident response procedures
