Sustaining Human-Centered AI Practice

This capstone unit synthesizes advanced workplace readiness and ethical AI practices to help learners become irreplaceable in AI-augmented environments. Students will focus on sustaining AI literacy, applying a strategic IRREPLACEABLE framework, mitigating harms (bias, privacy, distraction), and designing human-centered plans for businesses, families, and learners.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze workplace and learning scenarios and develop a personalized 90-day AI literacy and adaptability plan aligned with the IRREPLACEABLE framework
• Apply Phase 3 strategic implementation principles to design a business-level AI integration plan that includes a detailed first-three-month roadmap, role responsibilities, and explainability measures
• Evaluate AI systems and organizational practices for bias, explainability, privacy, and trust, and recommend at least three justified technical or policy mitigations consistent with ethical and legal considerations
• Demonstrate human-centered interventions by designing and presenting two actionable programs (one for workplace teams, one for families/children) that reduce AI-driven distractions, mitigate tech addiction, and foster long-term human growth with AI
