Azure Machine Learning and Vision

This unit covers core machine learning concepts and how to implement them using Azure Machine Learning services, including AutoML, data and compute resources, model lifecycle management, and deployment. It also introduces deep learning fundamentals, computer vision tasks and Azure Cognitive Services for vision and video, with an introduction to natural language processing to prepare students for building, evaluating, and deploying AI solutions.

Learning Objectives

• Analyze common machine learning and deep learning algorithms and select appropriate approaches for classification, detection, OCR, and basic NLP tasks in given scenarios
• Apply Azure Machine Learning workspaces, AutoML, and Azure compute/data services to prepare datasets, train models, and manage experiments
• Demonstrate model management and deployment workflows in Azure, including versioning, endpoint creation, and basic monitoring of deployed models
• Evaluate Azure Computer Vision, Face, Custom Vision, and Video Indexer services for real-world use cases, identifying capabilities, limitations, and ethical/accuracy considerations
