This capstone unit synthesizes industry case studies and practical considerations to prepare students to design, launch, and manage metaverse experiences across sectors. Students evaluate brand strategies, healthcare and accessibility concerns, payment and hardware workflows, and create a strategic plan that anticipates future metaverse trends.

• Analyze multiple industry case studies (e.g., Nike, Adidas, Roblox, Epic, Sony, Walt Disney, Shopify, Sotheby’s) to identify effective tactics for growing customer bases, increasing brand awareness, and elevating metaverse experiences
• Evaluate design, ethical, privacy, and accessibility considerations for metaverse applications in healthcare and learning contexts and recommend modifications to accommodate diverse user groups and ongoing professional education
• Apply payment processing, finance considerations, and hardware testing protocols to create a secure, scalable onboarding and transaction plan for a metaverse project that includes influencer marketing and employee engagement strategies
• Demonstrate the ability to synthesize marketing, technology, finance, and operational insights into a forward-looking strategic plan that anticipates future metaverse developments and outlines measurable implementation steps
