Human-Centered Control Design

This unit synthesizes prior learning into actionable principles for designing intelligent systems that keep humans in control. Students review key takeaways, apply human-centered control strategies to conversational AI scenarios, and reflect on future technical and career directions informed by practitioner perspectives (Robb Wilson).

Learning Objectives

• Analyze the unit’s key takeaways and identify at least three design principles that promote human-controlled outcomes in conversational AI, citing evidence from lesson materials.
